The Toronto Star's headline today blared that the two greatest hockey players of all time (pictured) who happen to be Canadian have stepped in and are poised to save the NHL season.
Their sources said that a season saving announcement will be made today and a 28 game hockey season will begin on March 1st.
Update
I am overwhelmed by emptiness now that not even these great Canadians could save the hockey season.

I guess it didn't work out. The cover of the Sunday's La Presse reads "Gretzky et Lemieux font chou blanc" which means Gretzky and Lemieux make white cabbage. Weird.
